New Heights for the Women’s National Team in Singapore

The Philippines’ women’s national floorball team impressed during their recent trip to Singapore, where they competed in the AOFC Cup and World Championship qualifiers. With a dynamic mix of new and returning players, the team claimed two wins out of four matches and ended the tournament with a historic victory over New Zealand.

The squad mainly consisted of players based in Singapore, currently active in the local floorball league. They were joined by three athletes from the Philippine league, two from Sweden, and one from Finland – making it a truly global team.

In the match for 5th place, the Philippines delivered a memorable performance by defeating New Zealand – a first in the team's history. The win not only boosted morale but also highlighted the steady progress of the women's program.

With the AOFC behind them, the team now turns their focus to the upcoming SEA Games in December – ready to continue building on this momentum.
